Refund policy
Effective
Scrambo uses prepaid USD credits for video templates. Credit purchases are generally non-refundable, except for billing errors, service failures, or where a refund is required by law.
Credit purchases
Purchases are one-time payments, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Credits are added to your account after Stripe confirms payment. Unused credits and a change of mind generally do not qualify for a refund to your payment method.
Failed template runs
If a charged template run fails, the credits consumed by that run are automatically restored to your Scrambo balance once the failure is recorded. This is a restoration of app credits, not a refund to your card.
If credits have not been restored, or a service failure prevents us from delivering the paid service, contact support. We will investigate and correct the credit charge or refund the affected payment as appropriate. Please report problems with a delivered result so we can review them.
Billing errors and other exceptions
Contact us about duplicate charges, an incorrect amount, or a payment that did not add the purchased credits. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors, including issuing a refund when appropriate. Refunds required by applicable law remain available regardless of this policy.
How to request a refund
Email Scrambo Support at hello@scrambo.dev with your account email, payment date, amount, and the reason for your request. Include the Stripe receipt or payment reference and, for a template issue, the Edit ID if available. Do not send your full card number, security code, password, or sign-in code.
Approved refunds
Approved payment refunds go to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank determines when the refund appears on your statement. Credits associated with a refunded purchase are removed from your balance; if they have already been spent, your balance may become negative and further paid runs may be blocked until sufficient credit is available.
Cancellations
You can leave Stripe Checkout before completing payment. There is no recurring plan to cancel. Closing a template session after work has begun does not by itself entitle you to a payment refund.
